Two years have passed since the official announcement of “Kingdom Hearts 4” without us receiving any concrete details about the role-playing game. The leaker and insider Daniel Richtman, who gave a rough release period, is causing new speculation.
After the release of “Final Fantasy 16” and the two DLCs, “Kingdom Hearts 4” is the next big role-playing game from Square Enix.

Since then, official announcement “Kingdom Hearts 4” has been around two years in the making and we still don’t know when we can expect the official reveal or even the release. While Square Enix remains silent, a leaker and insider wants to know more about the release period.
We're talking about Daniel Richtman, who has often turned out to be a reliable source in the past, especially with Marvel. As the leaker reports, Square Enix is aiming for a release in 2025 for “Kingdom Hearts 4”. Richtman did not provide any further details in this context.
When will Kingdom Hearts 4 finally be presented?
Since those responsible at Square Enix continue to hold back on specific details about “Kingdom Hearts 4,” it is unclear where the insider got his information from or whether it is accurate. The fact is, however, that two years after the role-playing game was officially announced, the community is slowly becoming restless.

On the second “anniversary” of the announcement of “Kingdom Hearts 4,” players spoke up with their wish for an early reveal. If the rumors about next year's release turn out to be true, the Summer Game Fest 2024 on June 7, 2024 should be ideal for a presentation.
But The Game Awards, which traditionally take place in December, have also been repeatedly used by Square Enix for announcements in the past.
What is known about Kingdom Hearts 4?
As mentioned at the beginning, Square Enix hasn't released too much information about “Kingdom Hearts 4” so far. In principle, all we know is that this time we're going to the world of Quadratum.
