Late last year, ACQUIRE revealed that it was working on CARDS RPG: The Misty Battlefield, a new roguelike deckbuilder RPG that will be released on Nintendo Switch in 2024 (see here). We now know that the game will be released on May 23, 2024.
Here is a new genre of game that combines deck-building roguelike and tactical RPG. Fight with Clausewitz's mercenaries, led by Vel, the hero, against Hellmuth's mercenaries. Build a deck with 50 different cards and explore a map covered in fog of war. That day, a jet-black dragon descended on the kingdom, and in the blink of an eye, the city was destroyed.

The endless war has had its course reversed by a single dragon. The “chimera”, a cross between dragons, who never intervene in the wars of men, and bloodthirsty humans. Seth Arden, a scout for Clausewitz's mercenaries, discovers that Fahtania plans to create a series of “chimeras” in order to take over the world.
When Chief Vel Dina learns of this, he is horrified by the atrocious human experiments carried out to achieve this goal. Clausewitz's mercenaries therefore set out towards Fahftania in order to put an end to these vile experiments and the attacks of the evil kingdom. But in Fahftania, Hellmuth's mercenaries are waiting for them…
