So what was it about? About the film itself? In terms of content the film takes place in 1973 in Chile at the time of the military coup. The main role Lena is played by Emma Watson and Daniel Brühl is also there (and plays Daniel).
We know Brühl from Good Bye, Lenin, Inglourious Bastards, The First Avenger: Civil War, The Alienist and many more. Nothing should have gone wrong with the cast.

Why did the film with Emma Watson flop so badly?
According to the Guardian, there are logic holes in the film that are the size of Saturn. Peter Bradshaw gives the performance two out of five stars. Things don't look any better on Rotten Tomatoes. The film review is included only 29 percent and public opinion is also at a rather low level at 61 percent. However, you can see for yourself, because “Colonia Dignidad – There is no turning back” will be available to stream on Netflix until May 14, 2024.
