Will Princess Zelda be the heroine of the next Nintendo Direct? - Rumor

Nintendo is he preparing a game with the princess Zelda as a playable character? It is in any case a rumor started by a certain PapaGenos which has already distinguished itself in the past by predictions which have, it seems, hit the nail on the head.

If, at this stage, we don't really know what to think about it, we know that Nintendo is now in the habit of offering, between two canonical episodes of The Legend of Zelda, remakes or remasters of old episodes (like The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening And The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD) and spin-offs (like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Blight).

It would therefore not be surprising if the Legend come back from this year… Obviously, we can't help but think of the famous portages of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD And The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HDmany times announced by rumors and who remain for the moment little gems from the Wii U catalog.

But Nintendo can he surprise us with a new game that no one expects? While Nintendo Switch 2 is on the horizon, Nintendo can he offer a new title to boost the catalog of his good old Switch and finally offer Princess Zelda the first role she never had in the series which nevertheless bears her name?

Faced with the scale taken by the rumor PapaGenos made some clarifications to his “scoop”, first reminding that it had nothing to do with the rumor of the port of Breath of The Wild on Switch 2 and that the image used for his initial message (showing Zelda artwork from Tears of the Kingdom) was not a clue… To find out more, you will have to watch his traditional video of predictions of the Nintendo Direct of next June.

Note that since then, PapaGenos backpedaled by publishing a tweet explaining that it was simply “predictions based on rumors” And that he therefore could not guarantee the existence of the game… However, he remained “confident” and simply invited us to “wait and see“.
