The developers have a lot planned for Hades 2 in the coming months.

After more than three years of development, Hades 2 was surprisingly released in Early Access on Steam on May 6, 2024. The user reviews are certainly a great success for the development team. But of course they still have a lot of work to do before the game is released in its 1.0 version.
Supergiant Games has already published the first roadmap – as part of the game itself. If you start Hades 2, you will find the corresponding message in the main menu.
That should come in the next few months
The roadmap shows how the action role-playing game will continue in the foreseeable future:
- Supergiant Games is planning the first major update for 2024a few months after the start of early access.
- Early access should run at least until the end of 2024. It is not yet clear when version 1.0 will appear and depends on how the game develops.
These features have high priority

In addition, there are currently features that the developers are working on with high priority:
New exploreable region: This is a new area that will contain more “characters, enemies and other surprises”. This region is expected to be released later in 2024, probably in the first major update.
Crossroads update: With the help of a new system, the crossroads should be beautified. There are no details yet.
New main weapon: This should bring new weapon aspects. Here too, the developers are not yet showing their cards.
Other features: In addition, the story will be continued, more music and artwork will be added, and the existing game will be further expanded and optimized.

In this context, the developers expressly point out that Hades 2 is still in development and parts of the game still need to be changed or improved. Therefore, unfinished graphics, bugs or balance problems could occur.
The developers continue to plan to add innovations, changes and improvements to the game. According to Supergiant Games, an important factor is player feedback:
Without the ongoing feedback from our community, we would never have been able to develop the first Hades – that's why it's very important to us to maintain this process with the second game.
Elsewhere in the roadmap it says that fan ideas will probably play a role:
We obviously have a plan for the remaining content in the game, but this launch was a big part of it. Depending on how the game develops and what our community thinks of it, it will take us shorter or longer to reach our goal.
