Surpassing Samsung, Chinese TV brand shipments topped the world for the first time
According to the latest 2022 “Global TV Brand Shipment Monthly Data Report” released by AVC Revo,In December 2022, Hisense TV’s global shipments will be 2.326 million units, with a market share of 13.94%, surpassing Samsung and ranking first in the world.
Data show that in 2022, Hisense will achieve double growth in domestic and overseas markets, with shipments increasing by 15.5% year-on-year, of which domestic shipments will increase by 22%.
Throughout 2022, Hisense TV’s global shipments are 24.419 million units, with a market share of 12.06%, ranking second in the world.Samsung is still the boss, with shipments of 39.5 million units.
The report also shows that in 2022, global TV shipments will be 202.5 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 5.6%; the average size of shipments is 48.9″, a year-on-year increase of 0.6″.
In addition, due to factors such as the decline in demand in developed markets and the widening price gap with LCD TVs, the growth rate of high-end OLED TV shipments has slowed down. In 2022, global OLED TV shipments will reach 6.7 million units, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%.
