This is how XCOM 2 plays
The gameplay of XCOM 2 is divided into two different areas. With your flying headquarters you can move from A to B on the large world map to collect resources, which you can then spend to craft new equipment, recruit soldiers or research new weapons. This is where it comes up good resource management and the right priorities at. The aliens are not idle during this time and are trying to further advance a secret research project.
At regular intervals you will be called on missions to rescue civilians, evacuate a VIP or simply destroy the bases of the alien threat. Before landing, you choose which soldiers you want to take with you – they can different classes and therefore different abilities have. The more missions your troop completes, the more experience they gain. As you advance in rank, you can then unlock additional skills. If you want, you can even give your soldiers their own names and customize their appearance.
However, it is all the more annoying when one of your comrades or, in the worst case, even your entire squad, crosses the Jordan during a mission. That's why it's important that you stay safe during the turn-based battles Always exercise caution with the aliens, play to your strengths and hardly offer the Gesocks a surface to attack. Because even soldiers with top equipment can go down after just a few hits.
