IRVINE, United States – April 26, 2024 – SEGA® is pleased to announce the release of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! today on the Nintendo Switch™️ family of consoles.
The Standard digital edition ordered on the Nintendo eShop allows you to unlock:

- The basic game
- A set of four stamps including Kamado Tanjirô, Kamado Nezuko, Agatsuma Zen'itsu and Hashibira Inosuke
Players use stamps to communicate in-game and can use them in the “Sweep the Board” game mode.

Blacksmith Village Arc: information relating to the board
In the patch made available to players upon release of the game (details below), you will find a new board on the theme of the blacksmith village. Haganezuka, Kanamori, Tecchin, and other blacksmiths will be there to assist players in various ways, including Kotetsu, who holds the key to the “Yoriichi Model Zero” Battle Automa. At night, the powerful demons Gyokko and Hantengu will wait firmly for the four players who dare to challenge them.

- Delivery service ! – Bring plates to a hungry Mitsuri. Observe her expressions carefully when she eats: one mistake and she's sure to be stunned. The player who brings the most plates wins.
- The right mask – Find the right blacksmith mask. The player who finds the most masks wins.
Patch v1.01 Details
Note that a patch* (v1.01) will also be available when the game is released. It will include the following elements:
- Online functionality (online play)**
- Local wireless functionality (local wireless play)
- New virtual game board based on the Blacksmith Village arc
- 2 new mini-games, 2 new boss fights and new player card titles
- “Player Cards” are in-game profiles that you can customize with a multitude of titles and backgrounds, then share with other players, both locally and online.
- Added gyro functionality for minigames and a settings menu for gyro controls
- Other tweaks and bug fixes

About Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!
The anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba makes its debut in a virtual board game. Take part in events and mini-games for up to four players locally or online.
- Roll the dice and try to become the best demon slayer. Iconic locations from the anime, such as Mount Fujikasane and Asakusa, serve as boards in this game. Roll the dice to advance on the game board where day and night follow one another. By day, prepare for the night by taking part in events and mini-games. At night, go hunting for demons.
- Take control of iconic characters. Choose from your favorite Slayer Army characters like Tanjirou, Zen'itsu, Inosuke and the Pillars. Nezuko appears on the game board as an additional character coming to lend a hand to the players.
- Fight demons using your Joy-Con™. Challenge demons like Akaza in mini-games and move your Joy-Con like a sun saber to attack.
