If you like superheroes and more particularly Marvel, you couldn't miss Deadpool 3 aka Deadpool & Wolverine. Yes, a few days ago, in a trailer full of humor, the two heroes were finally shown together! Until then, Logan had been more discreet and was desired by fans, who were waiting for his return to the big screen. As a reminder, his interpreter Hugh Jackman had however sworn not to reprise this role again, after leaving the Xmen character behind in 2017. These few minutes keep us waiting until July 24, during which the two heroes hate each other as much as they love each other, to our greatest pleasure. We can't wait to see what this explosive duo will bring and to reunite with these iconic characters. However, some have also noticed that the trailer hints at another long overdue return.

Like a sense of deja vu

By clicking on the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, you may have thought you had the wrong video for a few seconds. You probably also had a feeling of déjà vu and that's normal, because this trailer identically reproduces this scene from the trailer for Marvel's Wolverine on PS5. Logan's back is there, sitting behind a bar with an ultra-heavy decor, sipping a drink. The only difference is that in the images of Deadpool 3, we quickly discover Logan's face, very quickly joined by that of Deadpool. He seems to be fed up with him already. On the Insomniac Games side, however, it's still very mysterious. The bar is completely deserted because of a fight (well almost) and Wolverine prefers to bare his claws against whoever is waiting for him.

And yes ! The highly anticipated game from Insomniac Games is being awaited almost everywhere, but it hasn't left our memories yet. On Twitter, this little wink made a lot of people react, including Hugh Jackman himself, who allowed himself a little “Hell Yeah”. On the other hand, the surprise is that the video game studio also made an “LFG” remark (Let's F*cking Go, in reference to a line from the trailer), without any additional comment. At the same time, it cannot provide additional information about the PS5 game overnight. Developers are likely still suffering the consequences of last year's data breach. At least the project was not abandoned.

Any Wolverine PS5 news?

Remember that last year Insomniac Games Studios was the victim of a cyberattack that resulted in the leak of 1.67 terabytes of data containing more than 1.3 million files. This data was then sold at auction. These hackers had leaked numerous level designs for Wolverine PS5, a probable release date, September 1 2025, as well as information on the studio's future projects, including those related to Marvel. Most were planned for 2030, but it is unclear whether this theft forced the group to change its plans.
