New Role-Playing Game Dominates Steam’s Top Seller List

Steam has a new king. A recently released role-playing game takes on even the biggest PC games and storms to the top of the top seller list. However, the early access version of No Rest for the Wicked is not fully recommended by players.

New action RPG conquers Steam

A new action role-playing game achieves instant success on Steam. No Rest for the Wicked lands just one day after release in first place among the PC top sellers. Even long-running gaming favorites like Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 or the Steam deck have to admit defeat (source: Steam top seller).

No Rest for the Wicked is the new game from developer Moon Studios, which is also responsible for the acclaimed platformers Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The new action RPG is now starting tough fights, in which you have to adapt to different weapons and carefully study the attack patterns of your opponents.

No Rest for the Wicked is currently still in Steam Early Access. That's all that's included in the game first major chapters of the story campaign, but also side quests and a wide range of weapons and abilities. By the time the release is complete, additional regions, new enemies and bosses and a multiplayer mode will follow, among other things.

You can watch No Rest for the Wicked now Buy it on Steam for 35.99 euros. The price is still reduced by 10 percent until May 2nd. After that the game will cost the full 39.99 euros.

What do Steam players say about No Rest for the Wicked

The Steam reviews for No Rest for the Wicked are currently mixed. Only 59 percent of the more than 3,400 reviews would recommend the game. The tricky battles and the beautiful graphics are particularly praised. However, there is also a lot of criticism. For example, players report severe performance problems. The fiddly controls also cause problems for many – especially with the mouse and keyboard. Of course, a lot can still happen here before the end of the early access phase.
