New Anime from Chainsaw Man Author’s Manga Set to Mesmerize Audiences in 2024

After the announcement of the anime adaptation of Look Back more than two months ago, uThe first trailer has just been revealed and it is already dazzling Internet users. Far from his best-known work, Chainsaw Man, this one-shot is in line with the mangaka's other less publicized works and already promises to captivate the hearts of the public.

What is Look Back?

Look Back tells the story of two young girls who are completely opposite. On one side Ayumu Fujino, a rather extroverted fourth-year student, and on the other, Kyomoto, her classmate confined to her home. They ultimately become friends thanks to their common passion, creating manga. Hosted by the Durian studio, the project is headed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama, an animation veteran who notably worked on Evangelion: Rebuild of Evangelion, The wind picks up or Arietty.

Planned for the June 28 in Japan, the adaptation was announced a little over two months ago on the official website lookback-anime.com. This explains in particular that the manga is actually based on the author, Tatsuki Fujimoto's own life. Although he is best known for his seminal work, Chainsaw Manhis numerous one-shots as well as his other series, Fire Punchregister it among the biggest names in manga.
