“Predator: Hunting Grounds” is a new video game based on “Predator” as an asymmetrical multiplayer action/shooter, and was launched for PS4 and PC in April 2020. IllFonic has released a roadmap for 2024/2025 that will support new generation consoles including Xbox Series X|S and introduce new content. It has been announced that IllFonic will take over the sales of this work, replacing SIE/PlayStation, which has been the publisher until now.

■ Latest roadmap for “Predator: Hunting Grounds”
- April 2024 (patch 2.49): Scheduled to be distributed for existing PS4 and PC. Introducing player movement, fireteam weapon reworks and balances, Predator weapon balance changes, and user experience/playability improvements.
- Late 2024: Scheduled to be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. We will focus on developing a new generation console version that runs on Unreal 4.27, Vivox, and Wwise. Two editions are available: Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition.
- Winter 2024: Introducing a new Predator.
- Spring 2025: Introducing more Predators.
Predator: Hunting Grounds
An online asymmetric multiplayer action/shooter set in the depths of the jungle, where a battle between Predators and humans unfolds.
The strongest extraterrestrial life form, the Predator, and its only threat, humans, are the prey.
An elite unit that operates in teams of four: Will the fire team complete the military mission first, or will the Predator sneak up and hunt down humans one by one…?

“Predator: Hunting Grounds” has the same world view as the “Predator” series. The theme song that all fans of the series have heard, the Predator hiding in optical camouflage, humans confronting unknown creatures in a jungle with dense trees… There is something nostalgic about it, but it is also a completely new Predator. You can experience the world.
■ Humans vs. extraterrestrial weapons
The Fireteam, an elite unit, wields a variety of weapons such as pistols, assault rifles, shotguns, grenades, and heavy weapons, and you can customize the weapons you equip. Predators use their own high-tech weaponry to carry out their hunts, including plasma cannons, combi sticks, smart discs, wrist blades, and Yautja longbows.

The jungles of South Africa, with its pristine and complex topography, are dotted with guerrilla bases. Fireteams will need to devise tactics to confront the enemy, whether they rush into the enemy base as a team or quietly infiltrate from all sides without being noticed. Predators can climb trees and track humans from high places, and can use optical camouflage to hide themselves and manipulate humans.
