“Cyberpunk 2077” is set to receive a board game adaptation. A campaign to finance “Cyberpunk 2077 The Boardgame” has been prepared on Gamefound. The starting signal should be given soon. Those interested can currently follow the project to receive updates.

Actually, no further updates for CD Projekt Red's “Cyberpunk 2077” should appear. However, two weeks ago, game director Gabe Amatangelo gave fans the Glimmer of hopethat even smaller patches could follow.
While the developers have been working on a sequel for a long time, the franchise is growing in other areas. It was published in 2022 animated web series “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” on Netflix. With an IMDB rating of 8.2/10, the series convinced old and new fans.
After the game and series there is a board game
A new Campaign on Gamefound is intended to help expand the franchise to include a board game with miniatures. “Cyberpunk 2077 The Boardgame” does not yet have a release date. And fans can't contribute money yet either.
But anyone who follows the campaign with their Gamefound account will receive an additional miniature as soon as they contribute to the financing after the crowdfunding start. This is V with Mantis blades. The developers present the planned crew members and the weapon system in a short clip on YouTube.
Five characters can be seen in the video that fans should know from “Cyberpunk 2077”. In addition to the male and female versions of main character V, the crew also includes Jackie Welles, Panam Palmer and Judy Alvarez. All material shown so far is included on the product page Board Game Geek listed.
As soon as it is released, “Cyberpunk 2077 The Boardgame” is intended to keep one to four players aged 14 and over busy for at least 75 minutes. So far, around 40,000 people follow the project on Gamefound. The game is implemented by Go On Board with the support of CD Projekt.
Supported languages include German, French, Italian, Spanish and Polish. Unfortunately, there is no information yet about which pledges will be available to choose from. There is also no information about the price of the individual packages.
