After an almost unchallenged nine-year reign, the Nintendo Switch finally seems ready to abdicate its throne. We should finally see the famous and eternal Arlesian that is the Switch 2 by April 2025. Unfortunately for fans, it will not make an appearance during the next Nintendo Direct. This is a very close date, since it will take place next month, in June. This is Furukawa, president of Nintendo. We will announce the successor to the Switch this fiscal year for the first time in nine years since we announced the Nintendo Switch in March 2015.
