What is the best weapon?

Well, that's a difficult question to answer because, like the first Hades, it depends on your playstyle. Do you like that one more? Close combat, then the sister blades are a good choice. Alternatively, the ax is also worth considering, but it is a bit slower in comparison.

The shadow flames, on the other hand, are something in between, particularly notable for their special attack good against smaller numbers of opponents suitable. However, our impression so far is that they are also very dependent on the improvements you acquire over the course of a run. The same applies to the skull, which, like the gun in Hades, is very special.

The witch's staff is again like the classic sword in Hades: A All-rounder, who has particularly powerful Omega attacks. It's best to just try each weapon out a few times to get a feel for it. Not to forget that an additional degree of individualization is possible with the aspects that follow later.

Last but not least, it should be mentioned that Hades 2 is still in development Early access located. A lot can change before the full version is released and more weapons will probably be added over time. This also applies to the possibility of Playing Hades 2 on the Steam Deck is already a good choice.
