It took a while, but now Riddick 4 is actually coming. After already in 2015 (via Cinemablend) there was talk that Vin Diesel wanted to return for another part of his sci-fi series, shooting for Riddick: Furya has now been confirmed – among other things Deadline reported.

Strictly speaking, Riddick: Furya was announced in February 2023, but now things are only really starting to move. At the August 26, 2024 The cameras are being fired in Germany, Spain and Great Britain, but there are currently no concrete details about the theatrical release or cast.

As a director and screenwriter David Twohy responsible for Riddick 4, which already directed the three previous films in the series.

The story of Furya (unsurprisingly) once again revolves around Richard B. Riddick (Vin Diesel), who returns to his homeworld, which he barely remembers. There he meets more Furyans who are more like him than Riddick could ever have imagined. On Furya, Riddick faces new monsters and another fight for survival.
