A queue of Pskov residents who received a summons gathered near the military registration and enlistment office

A queue of Pskovites who received a summons gathered near the military registration and enlistment office in Pskov on Pervomaiskaya Street, 38 today, September 23, the correspondent of MK in Pskov reports. In total, there were about 30 people near the building.

As a source told the MK in Pskov correspondent, there are no volunteers among those arriving at the military registration and enlistment office – those who received summons in recent days.

All the Pskovites who received the summons served in the military as riflemen, grenade launchers or sappers. Very many of them participated in operations in Chechnya and Syria or quit after participating in the SVO in Ukraine, the source said. The average age of those who arrived at the recruitment point is up to 40 years.

After visiting the military registration and enlistment office, the men will have to undergo a medical examination, after which they will be told about the time of departure for the exercises, which will last several weeks. The exercises are necessary for the training or retraining of military personnel.

Several of the men were accompanied by their wives. Two of the recruits live in St. Petersburg, but are assigned to the Pskov military registration and enlistment office, so they received a summons to appear in Pskov.

The order at the building is monitored by police and FSB officers. Traffic inspectors take away parked cars, of which there are many near the military enlistment office.
