Even before the new update for “Dragon's Dogma 2” is released, Capcom is giving a look at the planned improvements and bug fixes. The update will be available for download later this month for all platforms.

Dragon Plague receives reduction in infection frequency

Part of the new update for “Dragon's Dogma 2” is dedicated to the infection frequency of the dragon plague, which is being reduced. At the same time, it should be communicated more clearly if vassals have become infected with the disease.

For example, the Dragon Plague infects minions when they engage with dragons. The infection can be recognized by the glowing eyes and the increasing inability to follow your commands. If players allow the infection to spread, the minion will transform into a form that can kill important NPCs such as merchants and quest givers while the main character sleeps.

Additionally, treasure chests that have already been claimed will no longer appear on the “Dragon's Dogma 2” minimap after the update. And there are various changes to minion behavior and dialogue.
