Where is the Sanctuary of Rebirth in Zelda TOTK?

If you have played The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the Renaissance Sanctuary should tell you something. Indeed, it is nothing more and nothing less than the place where Link wakes up from his long sleep at the very beginning of your adventure in the previous game. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it is entirely possible to return to this place. Whether you're looking for a little nostalgia or are curious to discover where this legendary place is, you can find the Renaissance Sanctuary in exactly the same place as in BOTW, that is to say at the Prelude Plateau.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Renaissance Shrine: Where is it located?

In case you haven't played BOTW, The Prelude Plateau is a fairly large area located south of the Central Hyrule area and northwest of Lake Hylia. You will find there in particular the Ruins of the Temple of Time (where a Nostalgic fabric in a chest at the level of the bell tower), but also the famous Renaissance Sanctuary. In TOTK, the latter serves as a cave, and you will find it near the Ruins that we have just mentioned, a little further to the west (its precise position can be found in the screenshot above). To get inside, you will first need to burn the leaves blocking the entrance.

What can you collect in the Sanctuary of Rebirth?

As we just mentioned, the Rebirth Shrine serves as a cave in Zelda TOTK. This therefore means that as in all the others, you will inevitably find an Elusis to eliminate to recover its crystal. You will not take long to find it sincehe walks on the walls directly to the right after entering the Renaissance Sanctuary. Shoot him to get his Elusis Crystal.

At the bottom of the cave you will also find a basin which restores your health. Just behind, you can observe a hole in the ground which leads to a Yiga cache. Note that 3 yigas will intervene if you take something, such as banana blades just opposite for example. To eliminate them easily, throw an arrow equipped with a smoke mushroom and take them down one by one.

Once this is done, you will be able to interact with the Wizard Golem which will give you a Assembly engraving for power Duplicate. In case you haven't unlocked it yet, we invite you to follow our guide to getting Link's final power. If you're looking to find the others Assembly engravingsyou will however have to head towards the Depths. We refer you to our dedicated guide to know more.
