The action title “Stellar Blade” developed by Shift Up will be released for the PS5 at the end of the week. The international test ratings reveal whether young Eve's adventure meets the high expectations of the community.

One of the most exciting new releases in the near future is without a doubt the action title “Stellar Blade” developed by the South Korean studio Shift Up.

After the demo had already enjoyed great popularity, the review embargo finally fell today. As the international test ratings make clear, “Stellar Blade” is an action fireworks display that scores with a 15 to 20 hour long and exciting story.

In addition, critics praise the multi-faceted combat system and the challenging bosses. According to the tests, the final bosses will demand a lot from you and often require individual strategies. The reviews also praised the unlockable content and the coherent game world.

There were only minor deductions for the not always clean technology or the sometimes generic side missions. On Metacritic After just over 50 tests recorded, “Stellar Blade” has an average rating of 83 points.

Push square awarded eight points and commented on this decision as follows: “Stellar Blade is a refined console debut from a developer that is clearly on the rise. With an ever-evolving counterattack combat system, outstanding art direction and a sensational soundtrack, this is the kind of PS5 outing fans have been wanting for a long time.”



Also VGC dropped eight out of ten: “For those who wished God of War Ragnarök offered a little more challenge or that Bayonetta had a little more weight in combat, this clever sci-fi slasher is the perfect tonic that has both the perfect “It's both an entry into the Souls-like genre and a refreshing refinement of the tried-and-tested character-action formula.”
