Hades ii 19 2

If you are curious, but have very vague knowledge of the license Hadesyou have to know where you are putting your feet. Hades II is technically a sequel to the first Hades, an isometric roguelike based on Greek mythology. In the first episode, we played Zagreus, son of the god of the Underworld Hades, who rebelled against his father to the point of running away from home and facing multiple dangers, again and again, in an incessant loop. He could count on the other gods of Olympus to give him a helping hand, thanks to powers obtainable in each game which completely changed the approaches in combat.

Hades II uses exactly the same principle, except that we play here Zagreus' sister, Melinoë. The adventure takes place some time after the first episode, which means that a lot of references are made to the previous adventure. It is not essential to have played the first game to enjoy this one, although it is necessarily a plus. A new plot is offered to us, this time with the princess's revenge against Chronos, the titan linked to time.
