That's what Stellar Blade is about

In the world of “Stellar Blade,” Earth fell victim to an invasion by an alien force. The remnants of humanity retreated to colonies in space. From there they organize resistance against the invaders.

“The future of humanity hangs on a knife’s edge. The earth has been ravaged by strange, powerful creatures. The remnants of humanity have fled to a colony in space,” said the developers.

“From the Colony, EVE travels to the ravaged remnants of our planet with one mission: to save humanity by reclaiming Earth from the Naytiba, the malevolent force that once devastated it,” the story continues.

“But as EVE takes on one Naytiba after another and uncovers the secrets of the past in the ruins of human civilization, she realizes that her mission will not be as easy as she thought.”

“Stellar Blade” will be released on April 26, 2024 for the PS5.
