We'll tell you how much we liked Fallout 4 when it was released in our video test:

What is Fallout 4 about?

Just in time, you and your little family manage to get to safety from a nuclear attack in an underground bunker called Vault 111 and allow yourself to be put into cryosleep. A short time later, however, you have to watch as your partner is murdered in cold blood and your child is kidnapped. Your job is now, you to fight through the nuclear contaminated world and find your offspring again.

How exactly do you do this – and whether you would rather concentrate on helping other characters out of trouble, build your own settlements or those for yourself Assembling the ultimate weapon from scrap – is up to you.

As befits a Bethesda RPG, there are some mods that greatly improve the game:

If you complete one main task after the other in a targeted manner, you will be busy with Fallout 4 for around 30 hours. However, if you aim to explore every corner of the game world and successfully complete every side quest, you are probably for over 150 hours traveling in the nuclear wasteland (source: How long to beat).

If that's not enough for you, you can also grab the Game of the Year Edition of Fallout 4, which is also on offer. Instead of 39.99 euros, you only pay 9.99 until April 19th. In addition to the main game, the bundle also includes the three major expansions Automatron, Far Harbor and Nuka-World included. There is also some other small additional content.

If you want to get even more Fallout games on Steam at a reasonable price, you will find a special promotion page that lists all the discounted games in the series.

There's even recently been a dedicated Fallout series on Amazon Prime Video! We'll explain to you in the video whether it's worth watching:
