Gamingdeputy reported on April 24 that Sony officially released firmware updates for ILCE-9M3 (Alpha 9 III) Ver.2.00 and ILCE-1 (Alpha 1) Ver.2.01 today.

Shooting & playback functions
Allows the user to remotely control the camera on/off via a computer wired network connection (LAN).
After adding a new video recording, you can use Shot Marks shortcut mark to capture a certain frame from the video screen and automatically save it as a photo.
When shooting and playing back video, you can add Shot Marks and use them to select, transfer or edit video.
Shutter speeds up to 1/80000 are allowed in different shooting modes, including when the aperture is F1.8 or larger, and when using noise reduction shooting settings (long exposure noise reduction).
Added support for relay playback function.
A synchronized shooting function has been added, which is used to release the shutter simultaneously for simultaneous shooting when multiple cameras are connected to the host.
When the display and viewfinder are closed, the Remote Camera Tool App adds a focus frame display to the screen.
The maximum number of recorded images in a folder has been increased to 9999.
Added display of Wi-Fi signal strength.
Added support for C2PA format. (The validity period of the certificate has not yet been determined) (C2PA=Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity)
Added support for custom grid lines. (Customized grid lines are a paid feature, and availability depends on different countries and regions.)
FTP transfer & network functions
Users can use FTP to automatically transfer videos and photos set to “Protect.”
Videos/photos transferred via FTP can also be automatically “protected”.
Added priority to transfer specified photos during FTP transfer.
Added support for SFTP. (SFTP=Secure File Transfer Protocol)
