In a new trailer, the Seattle studio shows what the guardians can expect from the new content. It goes inside the traveler, who is corrupted from within.

The Guardians must face the witness

The Traveler is a gigantic, mysterious ball that arrived on Earth some time ago in the Destiny series and triggered a Golden Age there. Through the Traveler, the Guardians also receive their powers and their spirits. However, the mighty protector was pursued by his ancient enemy, the Darkness, which now represents the great threat to the universe.

The upcoming expansion “The Final Shape” will represent the culmination of the saga of light and darkness that began with “Destiny 1” in 2014. Bungie already had this a few weeks ago “The Final Form” gameplay revealed. Now a new trailer shows what it looks like inside the traveler.

Mighty Traveler needs players' help

“When I woke up in this place, I almost thought it was paradise,” says the trailer, which shows beautiful and varied alien landscapes. However, inside the traveler, in the Pale Heart, it is not all sunshine and roses.

Because the Witness corrupts our powerful protector and plans to achieve his final form. To face the new challenges, Guardians can access the new Prism Focus, which is a combination of the powers of light and darkness.

The new focus is intended to give players the option to customize their playstyle by combining different elements. Each class receives a unique grenade that combines different focus elements. Warlocks get a grenade with Stasis and Void, Titans can hit with Strand and Arcus, and for Hunters the grenade consists of Solar and Stasis.
