What is this connected watch?

The Pixel Watch 2 still has a very elegant round design, the greatest success of the first version. The finishes are very good and the bracelet is comfortable. The 41mm case, however, will not necessarily suit larger wrists, where the watch will be a little small. You can personalize its appearance according to your desires, with sporty look bracelets or more classic bracelets. Note that the watch is IP68 certified and resistant to dust and immersion in water.

Its AMOLED panel with a definition of 450 × 450 pixels and a density of 320 ppi offers good brightness for outdoor use, even in direct sunlight. Overall, and despite still too thick borders, the screen is pleasant to view, but still does not reach the level of competitors. The Exynos 9110 chip, which was already a little dated for the Pixel Watch 1, gives way to Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear 5100 chip. The latter, more efficient, makes the Watch 2 much faster. The menus and animations are fluid and the applications do not lag. The user experience is generally appreciable.

Is the Pixel Watch 2 worth it with this promotion?

With €80 off, Google's Pixel Watch 2 is a connected watch worth it. Wear OS, adorns the watch and is easy to use, with many applications accessible on the Play Store. Designed for health and sport, the watch offers various relevant data and complete sports monitoring. Too bad, however, that the Fitbit ecosystem is unnecessarily complex, with the use of two mandatory accounts (Google and Fitbit). The system is, however, pleasant to use and data such as heart rate, blood oxygen level, sleep monitoring are comprehensive. Sports tracking is precise and GPS reliable.

Finally, the autonomy of the Pixel Watch 2 is one day of use, and up to thirty hours. Allow approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to fully recharge it.
