Holders of a PS Plus Premium membership can try out additional games. Four new playtest versions are waiting to be downloaded.
Since 2022, PlayStation players have been spoiled for choice: In addition to deciding for or against a PS Plus membership, future subscribers have to choose one of three levels. This includes premium. It is the most expensive option and comes with a number of features including Playtest versions.

The selection of trials of this type is constantly increasing. Recently, a total of four play test versions were added – some with a playing time that seems strange.
For Exoprimal, 30 minutes should be enough
The first playtest version is the trial version of “Exoprimal”. Interested players can look into Trial for a full 30 minutes before the game time ends. The play test version is available for PS Plus Premium subscribers until April 17, 2025.
The publisher is not that stingy when it comes to the availability of paid content. There's plenty of it in the PlayStation Store. After all, there is a 50 percent discount on the full version until 12:59 a.m. tomorrow. This means that the price of “Exoprimal” drops to 29.99 euros.
Players with a PS Plus membership can also get a taste of “Gris”. The trial grants one hour of playing time. The title with 4.74 PSN stars is also on offer, but only until the following night: players will pay 3.74 instead of 14.99 euros until this point.

The other two games are “Trek to Yomi” and “Shadow Warrior 3,” which also offers an hour of gameplay.

More PS Plus games will follow in May
While most games for PS Plus will be available in April, which for both Essential and Extra as well as for Premium applies, the announcements of the May Games are approaching. If Sony sticks to its usual rhythm, the Essential new additions will be unveiled on April 1st, before downloading can take place from April 7th, 2024.
