Lords of the Fallen is getting a huge update: new quests, balancing, difficulty… | Xbox

Released in October 2023, Lords Of The Fallen had a fairly complicated launch. Despite certain qualities, the title suffered from numerous problems and has received dozens of corrective patches since. Today, the teams are announcing the release of version 1.5 of the game, a big update marking the end of the free content roadmap.

Baptized Master of Fateversion 1.5 of the game is described as “the culmination of more than 30 updates published since launch” and notably promises a significant improvement in performance as well as a rebalancing defined according to community feedback:

Today marks the arrival of version 1.5 – Master of Fate, the culmination of over 30 updates released since launch, resulting in significant improvements in performance, stability and optimization, as well as 'in a rigorous balancing of the difficulty in response to your comments.

Version 1.5 of the game also marks the arrival of advanced game modifier system offering players many options to configure their gaming experience and the difficulty of the title:

The latest addition – the advanced game modifier system – puts the power directly in your hands, allowing you to fully customize your gaming experience, using any combination of seven modifiers, to make the game easier, harder , or just a completely new experience every time. Modifiers allow you to randomize enemies, modify crowd density and even activate a form of permadeath.

Remember that Lords of The Fallen is available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PC. If you've been wanting to play the game, now is probably the best time to jump in, especially since the title is now being sold at a reduced price.

Main changes of version 1.5

  • New Painful Strikes: Each weapon family now has two unique finishes: one for one-handed wielding and another for two-handed wielding.
  • 3 new projectiles: Blood Vomit, Explosive Mines and Frost Worms.
  • Quality of life updates: inventory expansion, appearance reset, storage functionality, and gamepad reconfiguration.
