What happens now to The Lord of the Rings?
What was already circulating as a rumor is now completely official: The Lord of the Rings trilogy returns to cinemas. It is about the extended edition with a variety of additional scenes as well as greatly improved picture and sound quality. This edition has been available for home cinema for some time, but it will soon also flicker on the big screen.
As is now known, the starting signal for the new release is given in cinemas on June 8, 2024. From this day on you can experience the first three films of The Lord of the Rings in 4K UHD and additional material in large format. This re-release is likely to attract many fans. Just recently, a 20-year-old Marvel film celebrated a successful comeback on the giant screen.
