It wasn't that long ago that a very specific picture caused quite a stir on social media. In a selfie, “Thor” brother Liam Hemsworth showed himself in the gym, presumably training for the lead role in the Netflix series The Witcher. The Australian Hollywood star (The Hunger Games) was showered with malice and ridicule. And there is a very special reason for that.
Henry Cavill fans reject successor
Liam Hemsworth will take on the role of Geralt of Rivia alongside Yennefer in season 4 of The Witcher. This was previously held by Henry Cavill, but his exit from the Netflix series was announced in 2022.

Numerous Henry Cavill fans posted side-by-sides of Henry Cavil and David Corenswet in their respective Superman costumes on social media. There is talk of a huge “downgrade”. But it goes on.
