Amazon wants more fallout. Just a week after the release of the video game adaptation, the streaming platform is now making a big announcement that all fans of the series will be happy about.

Film and series adaptations of video games too often end in total catastrophe. The Fallout series on Amazon Prime Video seems to be against it to do everything right. Both gaming fans and professional critics are convinced. Now the streaming provider doesn't want to keep viewers worried for long and is announcing new episodes for the successful series.

On X (formerly Twitter) Amazon writes that the Fallout series will get a second season. A planned release period is not yet specified. In a statement, Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, is also happy about it Meeting player expectations and attract millions of new fans to the franchise. She would also like to thank the cast for their outstanding work, the producers and most recently Bethesda (source: IGN).

Fallout: Sequel was almost certain
The Fallout series is a real streaming success and is also attracting some new fans to the role-playing games. The announcement of a sequel was under these circumstances only a matter of time.
