Discover 19 hidden spots in GTA 5 that only true criminals are privy to.

No matter how well you know GTA 5, there are probably still some secrets you've never heard of. In our photo series we now introduce you to 19 special places that you can discover in Los Santos and the surrounding area.

Maybe you will have already seen some of these places. But especially with a developer like Rockstar, who likes to hide things in their games, it can take decades until the last secret is revealed. We've picked out some of the best hidden places for you.

Many of you probably know Carl Johnson as CJ from GTA: San Andreas. You can discover his fate as a secret in GTA 5 – we have marked the location on the map above. At the grave with the wooden cross you can press the button indicated to interact with it. We don't want to spoil what happens next…

In the northern Pacific off the coast of Paleto Bay There is a sunken UFO at the bottom of the Pacific. If you grab a submarine or diving gear, you can dive down and see it up close. A little tip: There is even an entrance at the bottom of the UFO.

However, this is not the only UFO you will see in GTA 5. Strictly speaking, they are a total of five UFOs in the game known. However, the underwater UFO and three other flying objects only become visible after you have reached 100 percent. One can be found in Sandy Shores, two more (one of which crashed) near Fort Zancudo, and the last one on the summit of Mount Chiliad.

In GTA Online you can get to a hidden apartment under the map through a glitch. Unfortunately, you can't enter it easily. You need an SUV and a parachute. You have to enter the parking garage in West Vinewood and you can glide out of the map by climbing onto the SUV. Then you open the parachute and glide down to the apartment. Once you land on it, all items in the apartment will reload.

In the Grand Senora Desert there is a west of Sandy Shores remote house boarded up with boards and wooden panels. At the back of the house there is a spaceship part on the collapsed terrace. If you visit the house on a dark stormy night, you can hear the ghostly scream of a girl at midnight.

In Ludendorff, where the very first mission of GTA 5 takes place, you can make a crazy discovery. If you drive under the railway bridge onto the frozen river, you can discover an alien frozen in the thick layer of ice.

North of Grapeseed you can find a farm where Mariuhana plants are grown. There is a makeshift one in the middle of the open area Greenhouse where you can find the grass.

At Ron Alternates Wind Farm there is a small bay with a small cave where you can find one of the rare Dodo seaplanes. However, you must have completed the mission “The Nervous Ron” beforehand.

You can just off the highway at the foot of Mount Gordo a golden tree discover. It is not known whether this tree was intentionally colored gold or whether it is a bug in the game. Just look at it for yourself.

The developers at Rockstar Games have this in GTA 5 Home of playboy Hugh Heffner recreated. You can find the house in Richman County. The garden with pool and love grotto was also impressively recreated. At night you can even find people throwing a party there.

In Great Chaparral there is a mine off the main road, the entrance to which is blocked by a door and a massive wooden beam. With explosives like C4 or grenades However, you can open the door and enter the abandoned mine shafts. If you go a little further into the mine, you can even find a man's body lying on the tracks.

West of Pacific Bluffs you can do this in the Pacific Skeleton of a blue whale find. The ribs and skull bones are very well preserved and of impressive size. Even if you don't need a breathing apparatus or a submarine to go down, it's still a good idea to take one with you.

Let's stay underwater: There is also a mysterious hatch at the bottom of the sea. However, the immense water pressure makes it impossible to enter. At least some players were able to get close enough to hear a knock code. This says the following: “Hey, you never call, how are you going to go bowling?” Fans of GTA 4 know this one obvious reference to Niko Bellic's cousin Roman is.

Speaking of the sea: The real Bermuda Triangle is located in the Atlantic between South Florida, Puerto Rico and Bermuda. The makers of GTA 5 didn't miss the opportunity to integrate a version of it into their game. That devil's triangle is located there in Paleto Bay. If you enter this area in GTA Online, you will be teleported back without your vehicle and it may well be that things are missing from your inventory afterwards.

Since GTA 5 takes place in the same area as GTA: San Andreas, of course you can the famous Grove Street not missing. There you will increasingly meet members of the street gang dressed in green. If you look closely, you can even see NPCs that look like CJ, Big Smoke or Sweet.

Mount Chiliad is considered the center for all sorts of GTA mysteries, including the following strange phenomenon: Someone actually appears there a face carved or drawn into the mountain to have. Some players recognize it as Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad, while others suspect that it could be the likeness of one of the developers. And what do you think?

If you're already near Mount Chiliad – in its nature reserve, to be precise – you definitely should Look for a convertible. This is most likely surrounded by the police and a short time later it drives down the cliff into the abyss.

Become Movie Thelma & Louise Anyone who has seen this knows that this is a clear allusion to the final scene. However, you can only admire the spectacle if you are in a plane or helicopter visited the place between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Otherwise you will only find the two women in the vehicle.

Another film reference in the Mount Chiliad Nature Reserve refers to No Country For Old Men. There you will encounter a number of abandoned vehicles and people who have been shot, reminiscent of the well-known shootout scene. If you're lucky, you'll even find a suitcase with exactly GTA$25,000 in it.

Even though it's usually relatively warm in San Andreas, at least in this case it's a little frosty: There's one waiting in La Mesa smiling snowman between two cold rooms waiting to be discovered by you.

Collector's editions of video games usually contain artwork or expensive figures. However, the Collector's Edition of GTA 5 still has a special feature hidden in the included card: If you shine a black light on them, all sorts of secret places, UFOs and other secrets become visible.
