YouTubers Ninebyte And Dhakhar have joined forces to undertake an ambitious project: creating a complete RPG inside Valheim. They were eager to create a unique gaming experience in an already vast universe. From the start, their goal was to design their own stories, custom bosses and more, using the tools available in this acclaimed survival title. This extraordinary achievement lasted more than 1,000 hours! Their first week of work was spent importing existing elements and modifying them, creating a sort of “build graveyard” from which they could draw for the rest of the project.

Develop a whole RPG

Having established this foundation, the two creators focused their efforts on creating five major cities, each to be integrated into a coherent story and narrative. They then filled in the gaps with points of interest, roads connecting the different areas, and built several boss arenas for epic battles against custom enemies. Inspired by the Legends mod, they also introduced twelve character classes, giving players a variety of options for their playstyle.

Fine-tune everything for a top experience!

Once the basic structure was completed, the finishing work began. Roads have been laid out to ensure smooth traffic, code has been optimized for optimal performance, and towns have been populated with mysterious NPCs offering intriguing quests. Additionally, careful attention was paid to creating a narrative backdrop that ties together all elements of the game. Each loot item from the base game was carefully placed across the map to serve as quest rewards, offering players an experience true to that of a traditional RPG. Thus, since March 16, it has been possible to access the mode beta for free. To try the experience, simply go to creators discord. However, if you are not attracted by this RPG, you can always enjoy the latest update just released, Valheim Ashlands!
