One of the defendants is Jakub Tabisz, vice-president of Cracovia and a member of the board of the Polish Football Association.

In an interview with the portal WP Sports Facts Janusz Filipiak, president and owner of the Krakow club, announced what the future of Tabisz will be. – In the coming days, a meeting of the supervisory board will be convened, during which a decision will be made to suspend the vice-president – ​​he announced.

Tabisz has been with Cracovia since 2003, currently he is the vice-president responsible for the financial department. In PZPN, he is a member of the board on behalf of the Ekstraklasa clubs.

In addition to the Cracovia activist, Maciej Sawicki, the former secretary general of the federation, heard allegations. This is related to the irregularities they allegedly committed when signing the sponsorship contract in 2014. Both were to receive an unjustified commission.

The suspects were subjected to preventive measures in the form of police supervision, bans from leaving the country, bans on passports and bans on contact with selected persons, and both had to submit a financial surety. In the case of Sawicki, it was PLN 250,000, and in the case of Tabisz, PLN 500,000. PLN, moreover, he was suspended in official activities.

This season, Cracovia won 25 points in 17 Ekstraklasa matches. It currently ranks eighth in the table.
