Before you begin your adventure in Stellar Blade, we need to make you aware of one mistake you should avoid making. The latter could totally compromise your gaming experience and it would be a shame to ruin so many hours of gameplay so stupidly. Stellar Blade hides its game well!
You won't be able to notice it at the start of your adventure, especially when you are in the Eidos 7 region, but Stellar Blade has a plethora of activities to accomplish: side quests, requests from residents, collecting cans, collecting documents, etc.
Although all of this content is purely ancillary and completely dispensable for continuing the game's story, it is nevertheless essential for improving your character.
Indeed, secondary quests and requests from residents represent a real gold mine, whether for improvement resources, experience points to improve your talent tree, gold to stock up on consumables, but also in Corporal Core or Beta and Exospine.
You will understand this very quickly, but all these elements are essential so that EVE, the heroine we embody, can gain power against the Naytibas.
Don't avoid side quests
At the risk of repeating ourselves, additional content is really important to progress correctly in Stellar Blade. In addition to allowing you to know a little more about past events on Earth, you will above all be able to collect many relevant resources for the improvement of EVE.
If you assume that the side content does not interest you, you risk arriving at the end of the game with a heavy disadvantage against the alpha Naytibas because the latter are really powerful. The main story doesn't provide enough resources to truly compete against them, at least without some nervous breakdowns. So the completion of the additional content is essential for the good continuity of your adventure within Stellar Blade.
To give you some examples, keep in mind that side quests are excellent for gaining a significant number of experience points. Thanks to them, you will be able to complete your talent tree in no time, and let me tell you, certain passives are really useful for survival.
In addition, the side quests offer access to certain merchants that you would never have been able to know. We are thinking in particular of D1G-g2r, a very nice drone, which will allow you to obtain weapon cores, Omnivis or even equipment improvement modules in exchange for some resources from the Wasteland. However, without completing his quest, you will never be able to meet him!
Finally, last example, certain quests open the door to certain essential resources to progress : we are thinking in particular of the Body Cores, which allow us to improve our life points, or the Beta Cores, which offer the possibility of improving the Beta skill gauge, or even Exospines or rare improvement resources.
To conclude, the mistake that we invite you not to repeat is to ignore the side quests. SO, complete as much additional content as possible to avoid running into an opponent much more powerful than you, without the possibility of improving EVE at a camp!
