About the plot of the new film by Director legend Francis Ford Coppola is still little known. Megalopolis is set in a city that's supposed to resemble New York, and accidentally by an accident was destroyed. A first teaser trailer shows that we are dealing with a science epic that is more reminiscent of Inception than Dune or Star Wars. Who plays in Megalopolis?

The now 85-year-old Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now) comes from a true Hollywood family. His daughter is the celebrated director Sofia Coppola (Lost In Translation), he is the uncle of Nicolas Cage and the brother of Talia Shire. The 78-year-old became famous, among other things, for her role as wife Adrian Rocky films with Sylvester Stallone known. She will also be in Megalopolis play along. An old acquaintance from Star Wars joins us.

When is Megalopolis coming to the cinema?
The project was incredibly expensive and obvious the big film studios are shy about it, to bring the science fiction epic to the cinema. A streaming start on Netflix, Disney Plus or Apple TV Plus could also be an option in 2024. How good is Megalopolis?
Francis Ford Coppola's new film will be its world premiere in Cannes celebrate. But first impressions from test screenings raise doubts about the quality of the film. So should Megalopolis are not based on mass taste. The film is supposed to give a damn about commercial aspects in a stupid way. Sounds like the best ingredients for a huge flop in the cinema.
