    • Summon The Beast in the Ice
    • Summon the Dark Master, aka Lord Zir
    • Summon Duriel's Echo
    • How to summon Andarielle's Echo?

Uber Bosses are not exclusive to Diablo 4 Season 2. You can summon them in non-seasonal mode (Eternal Realms), and they will also be available in future seasons. To summon them, you must meet certain conditions specific to each boss, while playing at World Level 3 or 4. Some bosses are exclusive to World Level 4.

To summon them, you must gather the required components for each boss. These components can be crafted by the Occultist or a similar method in town to create a special emblem. Once the emblem is created, you can use it to be automatically teleported to the corresponding boss arena, with your party.

It is important to note that playing in groups is recommended for several reasons: it limits the chances of failure and allows everyone to benefit from other players' summons.

Uber Bosses in detail

Summon Grigoire, aka the Skeleton King

Grigoire, who closely resembles Leoric, is present in almost every Diablo game in one form or another. To summon it, you must collect Living Steel from tortured Offering Chests during the Hellwaves. It is only available in world levels 3 and 4.

Summon Varshan's Echo

Varshan the Consumed, a boss from Season 1, has been reused for Season 2. The summoning conditions are different, however. To summon it, you must kill Grotesque Debtors by completing the Whisper of the Dead missions for the Tree of Whispers. Each mission will give you a chance to receive a piece of Varshan's body (and even a 100% chance if you play at level 3). If you want to summon him at level 4, then you will need an Evil Heart.

Summon The Beast in the Ice

Izual, the corrupted angel, is a recurring boss since Diablo 2. To summon this Ice Beast which looks just like him, you must collect Distilled Fear by completing Nightmare Dungeons of Tier 30 and above. The Occultist will then use it to craft a specific Nightmare Emblem. It is important to note that this boss can only be faced in world level 4.

Summon the Dark Master, aka Lord Zir

The Season 2 vampire leader, Lord Zir, is already integrated into the high-level bosses you can summon. To summon it, you must kill a World Boss or complete a Legion Gathering event in World Level 4 to obtain Exquisite Blood. Logically, it is therefore only possible to face him at world level 4.

Summon Duriel's Echo

Duriel, the scourge of players in Diablo 2, is the most powerful of the 5 Uber Bosses. To summon him, you must kill other Uber bosses in World Level 4, Grigoire and Varshan, in order to collect Mucus-covered Eggs and Suffering Fragments. Two important things to note about Duriel: he is logically only summonable at world level 4, but he is also the only Uber Boss likely to drop Uber-unique items.

How to summon Andarielle's Echo?

Like Duriel's Echo, Andarielle has the ability to reward players with Uber-unique items. Players can summon him and therefore face him in the 100+ dungeon, the Hangman's Room.

To invoke its “classic” version, you will need:

  • 2 x Sandburned Chains (loot from Lord Zir in World Level 4)
  • 2 x Voodoo Dolls (loot from the Beast in the Ice in World Level 4)

To summon its “tormented” version, you will need the same components as above, to which you will add 2 Stygian stones.
