Last was Rebecca Ferguson guest on the podcast The Playlist. Ferguson was seen in various films in the Mission Impossible series, among other things. The actress also appeared in the two Villeneuve projects for Dune.

In both Dune and Dune: Part Two (buy now €16.99 ) Ferguson appears as Lady Jessica. In the podcast interview, the award-winning actress talked about a third Dune film. Previously, Denis Villeneuve quite skeptical about a new part of the series spoken, at least with him in a leading role.
Will we see Dune 3 – or will we not?
“[Teil 2] is going really well and people love it, and [der Film] has a phenomenal cast“, were her words in the interview. “Of course there should be a third film, there's a lot of pressure on Denis's shoulders. There's a lot of pressure to keep going. And when do you make the creative decision?“
“Do you go when it's best or do you do it? [einen Film], which might fail and not be as good? It's a very difficult situation. It depends on the script; it depends on the money. It depends on all the actors who don't have a deal for a third film yet. That's a lot of topics. So you have to take care of a lot before writing a third script, you know?“
There will probably still be a lot of time before the first reveal for a new Dune film. The second film was finally released in cinemas in February. Given the success of both films and the huge interest in more content, a return to the cinema, in whatever form, should resolve itself.
