Assassin's Creed: Mirage has been available for around six months now. Anyone who hasn't had the chance to watch Ubisoft's action title yet and would rather take a look without any financial risk now has the chance to do so.

Ubisoft has started a new free trial campaign for the title, which runs from now until April 30, 2024. During this period you can initially download Assassin's Creed: Mirage for free and try it out without risk. You are given two hours of playing time, then you have to decide whether to buy the full version or not.

If you decide to purchase, you can also transfer the progress you made in the trial version to the full version – as is usually the case these days. In addition, there is also a free new Eivor skin for Basim as part of the trial version, regardless of whether you have already purchased the full version or are now starting out.

With Assassin's Creed: Mirage, Ubisoft returned to the stealth action roots of the earlier parts of the franchise last year. In addition, Mirage is significantly less expansive than the previous parts Valhalla, Origins and Odyssey; Some of these almost overwhelmed players with their enormous size.

While Mirage takes you to Baghdad in the 9th century, the company is already preparing for a fresh setting with the next part. The new part is currently being developed under the code name Assassin's Creed: Red, which will transport you to feudal Japan; The game does not yet have a release date, but could come onto the market in 2024. In addition, another extremely dark spin-off, Assassin's Creed: Hexe, is in the works, which is set to take place in Germany in the age of witch hunts in the 16th century.
