Even if it is perfectly portable and resistant to shocks, it should be slipped into a suitable bag for transport.
Performance-wise, professional applications run very well and the MacBook Air 13 can be used without problem at work or for studying. For more demanding video or photo projects, you may need to consider the MacBook Pro 14, the MacBook Air 15″ with the M2 chip, or the new MacBook Air with the M3 chip. Nevertheless, the laptop does a good job, and above all offers good value for money. Its Magic Keyboard is ideal for quick note-taking, with precise and comfortable typing. The size of the trackpad allows for comfortable navigation. The only downside is that the integrated webcam only offers a resolution of 720p.

Apple's newer models are arguably better laptops, but at higher prices. At less than €900, the MacBook Air M1 is more accessible and still has a bright future ahead of it. It features a 13.3-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 pixels. The screen offers very good brightness, but a little lower contrast. True Tone technology adapts the color of the screen according to the ambient light, and thus optimizes visual comfort. The Apple laptop can even be used indoors thanks to the effective anti-reflective filter.
Autonomy level, count between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., depending on use. Finally, note that the MacBook Air is a silent device that practically does not heat up.
