Community is completely surprised: A majority of the players didn't know the trick. Goukigod commented under the post: »I had no idea about it. I’m putting this on my list of reasons why I need to play it again.”

“To be honest, that never occurred to me.”gives Rawrz720 to. The player peabuddie explained: »I've been playing since the release. I've played through it a million times. Got the Hard to Core achievement. I never knew that.”

Even a developer didn't know: Commented under the post Seth Hallwho was then working as a visual effects director at developer Visceral Games:

Haha! I worked as a visual effects artist on Dead Space and didn't even know it was possible. Goddamn!

In a game where everything but enemies is few and far between, these extra resources are pretty useful. Did you already know this trick from Dead Space 2? When was the last time a discovery in a game left you as amazed as the community behind the Reddit post? Feel free to write it to us in the comments.
