When it comes to live-action adaptations of well-known brands, lately not only does Disney talk about yourself. Finally, Netflix has Projects like One Piece or Avatar: The Lord of the Elements brought back in exactly this form. Shortly after the release of the Avatar series it was announced that us two more seasons the comeback of the cult series is imminent.
Not surprising when you think about the huge amount of attention paid to the project. But in the cosmos of Nickelodeon there would, at least theoretically, be another series from the often praised universe. This is exactly what was recently discussed in connection with Netflix.

When did The Legend of Korra come out?
With The Legend of Korra A new animated series from the Avatar universe was launched in 2012. Instead of Aang, the eponymous waterbender Korra is the new avatar in the focus of the four seasons. To this day, the series, set around 70 years after the end of the original, enjoys enormous popularity. A return is therefore obvious.

Avatar as a brand is generally as popular as ever. Think not just of the Netflix comeback, but of the return to the cinema. January 20, 2026 is An animated film is planned with Aang: The Last Airbender. Fans don't have to worry about a sequel to the often-maligned Shyamalan flick The Last Airbender.
The Legend of Korra on Netflix?
Became the possibility of a live-action adaptation of Korra Jabbar Raisani asked at Paleyfest 2024. Raisani is an executive producer on the Netflix version of The Last Airbender and said: “Definitely [hätte ich Lust darauf]I would be interested in everything in this universe.“
