When will New Game Plus be available?

“Stellar Blade” benefits from a New Game Plus mode that allows players a new playthrough with old achievements. Apparently Shift Up was able to speed things up.

“Stellar Blade” is about to launch. The action-adventure fighting game published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Shift Up hits the market tomorrow exclusively for the PS5.

The launch is accompanied by a day-one patch that makes final changes to “Stellar Blade”. For example, must a graffiti give waywhich in combination with other lettering creates a slogan that sometimes serves as a racist statement.

But a feature that is now standard in many games is also coming to the console just in time for launch.

New Game Plus available on day one

Yesterday the tests for “Stellar Blade” started worldwide. One point that was raised critically by some reviewers concerns the lack of the ability to seamlessly switch to a new game after completing the game – for example with New Game Plus.

After Shift Up initially emphasized that this feature would not be available at launch, the South Korean developer was apparently able to speed things up. It was no longer enough for the initial tests. But at the final launch, “Stellar Blade” supports the New Game Plus mode.

In fact, the day one update 01.002.000 is already available and can be downloaded to the PS5 along with New Game Plus:

New Game Plus brings new abilities to the game.

When replaying the game, all equipment, currencies, items and records, character improvements, drone upgrades, acquired skills and SP are retained in “Stellar Blade”. Of course, players have to go through the game progress within the plot again. However, they can adapt to “new skills”.

Players who can't get enough of “Stellar Blade” have another option to whiz their way through the game with New Game Plus. The test ratings recently made it clear that the purchase is generally worth it Metascore of 82 led. Overall, there were 84 percent positive, 13 percent mixed and no negative reviews.
