Recently, there have been some hints that Valve has some kind of sequel to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) in the works. The latest on all of this is a trademark application that Valve filed with the US Patent and Trademark Office. The trademark is for something called CS2, which is supposed to be linked to both Counter-Strike and CS:GO.
Of course, it remains to be seen where this will end, but releasing a new Counter-Strike must undeniably be sweaty for Valve as it is absolutely something that has to be just right so those who play CS:GO agree to leave the old game for it new.
