Unexpected Good News: An Opportunity You Won’t Want to Miss!

Overwatch 2 has a little surprise for all its players and is preparing for its season 10. The only problem is that you will have to take advantage of it very quickly.

Blizzard's competitive FPS has been shaken up quite a bit in recent years, but it's slowly recovering. Deep revision of its gameplay with a change of meta, transition to free-to-play, overhaul of its economic system… Overwatch died to be reborn from its ashes some time later in the form of a “sequel”.

After a chaotic start, Overwatch 2 has never stopped pampering its players. Blizzard listens, acts accordingly and tries new approaches. The updates and content are in any case regular and the studio is preparing a very nice surprise for you this weekend.

Overwatch 2 is giving a little gift to all its players!

Shadow drop! As they say in the jargon, Blizzard has just announced that its next heroic character, the first to be non-binary, Venture, would be playable for free from March 28 to 31! Yes, it's available now and all weekend! You will be able to take advantage of this new character, Professional Attacker, who will have an arsenal of both offensive and defensive skills.

They will be equipped with an excavator rifle that is as effective at mid-range as in close combat. Venture will also be able to trigger different skills in relation to earth, his favorite element. They will therefore be able to sink into the ground to become invulnerable and create windows of opportunity. With his Tectonic Shock skill, Venture will be able to inflict heavy damage on his opponents while he will have an offensive dash that can inflict damage while pushing back opponents. Passively, they will have a damage bonus on their fast melee attacks and will gain a temporary shield each time they use skills.

Throughout the weekend, you will be able to discover Venture in all non-competitive modes. After the free trial weekend, it will return to hibernation until its final release at the launch of season 10 on April 16. And, as a reminder, Venture will be the very first character to be accessible upon its release. With season 10, Blizzard has in fact decided to completely review its system (once again), which means that from now on, heroes will no longer be stuck in the Seasonal Pass as was the case until now. Other changes are also expected, we covered them extensively during our first preview of this famous season 10. Lots of changes therefore, which should do a lot of good for a game which does not lack arguments, but which unfortunately runs a bit slowly.
