With the Fallout series Amazon Prime Video has reignited the fire for the most popular post-apocalypse in recent memory. So the question naturally arises as to when we will get the next playable main part of the series. Fallout 5can count.

Although such a solution was confirmed some time ago and has been in development since then, when we can prepare for it remains an open question. Chief Developer Todd Howard now underlines this once again with a few current statements about the current state of affairs.
Fallout 5: Todd Howard doesn't even want to give a rough release date
With Fallout 4 and its release in 2015 is already the last main game in the franchise almost ten years in the past. So it's no wonder that the calls for Fallout 5 have recently become louder and louder, even without the hype surrounding the Amazon series. Todd Howard already explained this 2022that Fallout 5 sometime after The Elder Scrolls 6 should appear. He was recently interviewed again by his colleagues as part of a detailed interview IGN asked about his last statement regarding the release date – whereupon he didn't want to give any more information about the time.
