Activision announced today what awaits players with the mid-season update. New maps, modes and much more are being added to the shooter.
On May 1st, Activision will release the Season 3 Reloaded update for “Modern Warfare 3” and “Warzone”. In this country the download will be available at 7 p.m.

The multiplayer maps are joined by these two battlefields:
- Grime – an abandoned waterfront area covered in graffiti. Swim through the murky water and fight your way along the docks.
- Checkpoint – based on the fortress of Rebirth Island. The upper corridors and control tower are sealed off to focus on ground combat.
Two playlists, a field upgrade and a mine
Another innovation is the arcade playlist, which is made up of different maps and modes. Powerups and special weapons are used.
If you kill an enemy, he leaves behind a powerup that leaves behind one of two abilities. Either you get unlimited ammo or unlimited grenades. There are also special weapons lying around the area that have glowing effects and floating animations.
Furthermore, the Vortex playlist returns. For a limited time, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the infected environments of Airborne, Satan's Quarry, Skidrow, Sporeyard and Tetanus.

A new field upgrade is also on the agenda. Behind it there are improved vision glasses that make your target acquisition easier. The tactical equipment EMO mine also comes into play.
Zombie mode hasn't been forgotten: Look forward to another story mission in which you will play Dr. You have to save Jansen. Additionally, you can earn three schematics and face the warlord Rainmaker.
Finally, we’ll focus on the battle royale shooter “Warzone”. Heavy armor is added and the weapon exchange station returns. If you want to become a super soldier, the specialist package is for you. You also get the chance to experience Rebirth Island at different times of day and changing weather.
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” is available for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
