An Xbox exclusive arrives discreetly on Playstation
Microsoft created the event last February by announcing the arrival of several Xbox exclusives on Playstation consoles. Among these, we then found Grounded, Obsidian's sandbox survival game that puts us in the shoes of young, shrunken teenagers who must do everything to survive in the backyard of a house and return to their natural size. A game strongly inspired by the film Honey, I shrunk the kids which offers a more than pleasant experience to share with friends. The software has just been released on PS5 and PS4, an arrival that Playstation players can rejoice in, but which has not really upset Sony. On social networks, the firm's communication is so discreet that it amuses the community, which then awards it the “prize for the least passionate tweet on the release of a video game”.
One release overshadowed by another?
We can frankly regret this lack of enthusiasm, as Obsidian's software has qualities that make it not only a gripping multiplayer game, but also a rather original survival experience for the genre. That being said, it is possible that this release will quickly be eclipsed by another as Sea of Thieves is due to arrive at the end of the month. It must be said that Rare's title is certainly more popular than Grounded and offers a multiplayer experience that shares some similarities. Sea of Thieves has established itself over the years as a must-have in the Xbox catalog that PS5 players will be able to discover from April 30. A rightly anticipated release, which certainly overshadows that of Grounded. Either way, it would be a shame to miss one of his two titles.
