Something could be brewing in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone

Since the wave of takeovers, Microsoft has owned a number of popular brands, including “Call of Duty” and “Fallout”. Both could be brought together in a crossover event.

“Call of Duty” is incredibly successful. And “Fallout” was also written by the equally successful Amazon Prime series brought out of Sleeping Beauty's sleep. The number of hits on the games in the Bethesda series rose explosively. So what could be better than bringing both brands together?

In fact, data miners made an interesting discovery that could indicate an approaching crossover event. In this context, “Modern Warfare 3” would have another player magnet and “Fallout” could also be introduced to a larger audience. But what supports this assumption?

Three possible crossover events discovered

As CharlieIntel reported, after the “Season 3 Reloaded” update, the operators of the Twitter/X account “COD Warfare All the news” were able to discover lines of code in the data from “Modern Warfare 3” and “Warzone” that were used for several crossovers. Talk events. And one of those events would be based on “Fallout,” as the following tweet makes clear:

There is no official confirmation yet. However, such a mixing of brands sounds quite plausible from a commercial perspective. “Fallout” has been on everyone’s lips since the Amazon Prime television series. And after the previous takeovers, the brand including Bethesda and the “Call of Duty” series are in the hands of Microsoft.

The development of other games should also be accelerated:

Possible crossover event with The Crow

The other two brands that appeared in the data for “Modern Warfare 3” and “Warzone” in connection with a crossover event are “Gundom” and “The Crow”. The latter film, starring Bill Skarsgard, is scheduled to be released in theaters this year as a reboot. Appearance in the “Call of Duty” series could significantly increase attention.

Ultimately, it remains to be seen what Activision will actually announce. In the past, however, such discoveries were often something that was later confirmed. And crossovers are not new for “Call of Duty”.

Most recently, “Warhammer 40,000” appeared with skins and a time-limited mode in the shooter. In it, players could slip into the role of a Space Marine. Here, too, relevant discoveries were made in the game code in advance.

What do you think of the “Fallout” series appearing in the popular “Call of Duty” series? Would you like to see content like this? Or is the famous cow being milked too much here?
