We are in the year 214 of the planetary calendar. Four years have passed since the end of the Solar War, and an uneasy peace persists in the solar system. The Jovian patrol ship Gun-Dog is sent on a reconnaissance mission to investigate mysterious signals coming from the outskirts of Jovian space. What begins as a routine mission quickly turns into a battle for survival as an unknown threat terrorizes the crew.

Using traditional point-and-click adventure mechanics, you can navigate the Gun-Dog, examine the details of the ornately realized settings, or speak with the various crew members on board. You'll need to listen carefully to characters' words to uncover important clues or dishonest intentions, and keep your eyes peeled for key objects and interactive elements in the settings that you can use to advance the story.

All stories are stories about people and the cast of “The Gun-Dog” brings the story to life, so much so that their charm and charisma convinced the Astrolabe Games team to board the Gun-Dog. Dog and sign to be the publisher. From the elegant but aloof Captain Bartermews to the bubbly Lieutenant Commander Cassandra Quinn to the confident and domineering Chief Mackenzie Cathays, “The Gun-Dog” features a wide range of characters for you to meet. Each member of the crew has their own personality, role and story. Get to know them and their quirks, and decide to work with or against them to uncover the mystery at the heart of the story.

The main scene of the first episode of the series “Stories from Sol”, the Jovian patrol ship Gun-Dog plunges into space and serves as a framework for the game's story. It was carried out exhaustively. Rich and evocative descriptions of the ship, including the constant rumble of the engine room, the bustle of the bridge, the silence of space, add to a wide range of scenes that have been meticulously designed and animated in detail to provide an immersive experience. Inspired by the best anime has to offer, the ship even features “Armored Frames”, mechanized weapons of war in human form.
